Im running scumm vm on a powerbook and i dont have a clue how to save a game.
Ive got it running, im half way through monky island 2.
But how the fuck do you save.
Ive pressed every god damm button.
Someone help please.

Or use F5 to bring up the main menu.
After all, god forbid, one could not possible expect you to read the README. Documentation is, after all, only for the weak and meek!

F5 makes my volume go up...(Apple)

This guy is an asshat. F5 makes his volume go up, so he jams on his keyboard all day long. How about holding down the FN key when you hit F5?

Function activates expose, thats why I said I was on portable apple.
And it looks like this has come up a few times, ScummVM needs to make it a tad more obvious how to save. It should be intuitive.

Well, it is more than intuitive. Open your Monkey Island 2 manual, we are using same key as original. So we are no more unintuitive than LucasArts original.
