Curse of Monkey Island problem

I've just recently found out how to play "The Curse of Monkey Island", on windows xp. However, the speech file voxdisk1.bun(or whatever it's called) won't load onto my harddrive. The cd is a bit scratched, and I'm assuming that is the problem, any ideas on cleaning the cd, or downloading the file in some sort of patch LEGALLY?

you can buy this thing called disc doctor, im not sure how much it costs, but it works quite well
