All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion

Hi all!
Separate from ScummVM, I'm trying to start an
Adventure Game Wikia for reviews, walkthroughs, hints, etc. Feel free to join. I would appreciate any support.

I don't see a support button either. I did it by editing the request and adding
Code: Select all
*{{Support}}-- [[User:DrMcCoy|DrMcCoy]] 13:34, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
to the supporter's list.
I hope that's a correct way to do this. *g*

Great idea, I think there's a real need for a comprehensive adventure game resource. I'm in!

I'm all for a proper resource on adventure games, but one question: is it limited to just graphical (i.e. point-and-click like Lucas games, or hybrids like the AGI ones) or will text adventures be given some room?
Just that as much a fan as I am of LucasArts/Sierra stuff as I am, I'm even more a fan of interactive fiction... (from Infocom and others)

There already is a great
Interactive Fiction Wiki . It seems to be down ATM, though...

I assume that like any wiki it will be up to the community that runs it to decide which games fit in its scope. It's an interesting issue in and of itself, determining what falls under the title "adventure game" (for which each person will likely have his or her own definition).

@Arantor: Sure! If it's an adventure game, and not a puzzle or action/adventure game, it's in. Text/2d/3d are all viable
