"Rule #0"

Post by Gospel rocker »

I hope this isn't wrong to post, but why do they call Rule 0 "Rule #0", anyway? Is it because it is so imperative that it can't be put with a common integer as the others? Or perhaps because they consider it
the primal rule, superceding all other. Or maybe just maybe ya'll wanted to strike out so far from the beaten path of overdone and mundane, that you put a zero with something. Whatever the case, the rule serves an important purpose, and ya'll enforce it well indeed, good show lads, jolly good show.

By the way, are you forum mods ScummVM staff, or just trustworthy folks, handpicked for your knowledge and integrity?

There are two reasons for it:
1) zero tolerance
2) in most computing languages, arrays start from 0, not 1 :)

Please, cut the sarcasm, it's not helping anyone. Piracy is a sensitive subject

Legal Issues

Aye, I know from just the little bit I've looked around that it's hard with something like this to keep LA from trumpin' up 50 lawsuits against you, I wasn't trying to be fececious, either. Aye, in this day and age, anything having to do with electronics is touchy.
