Hello,
I have recently discovered scummvm and I have downloaded and tried it last night. I am very surprised to find a soft like scummvm, and at the same time very grateful to the people that has bothered to do it. Thanks!.
I installed it in Vista, and added a game pointing to the folder where SMI is installed. When I start the game from scummvm interface, it starts but I can only hear the sound/music, see the text and some (very few) sprites, like the clouds of the presentation moving over the mountains (but not the mountains, neither title, etc, only clouds and letters at bottom. The rest of the screen is filled of graphic glitches)
I have searched this forum, and google but I have not found a similar case. I have tried several configurations for the game in scummvm without success. I run it in DOS emulation mode (not Windows, not PC-Engine, because DOS is the only I found it, at least, runs).
Could someone help me please?
Btw, this is my first post.
Monkey Island floppy version.
I'm installing on a laptop. I don't know if it could affect.
Regards
Monkey Island I - no graphics

Do you, by any chance, have an Intel onboard graphics card? Then you should look for updated drivers. I had a similar problem with my i915 chipset some time ago.
Alternatively you could try running scummvm with the following environment variable set:
