Hello,
I was looking for games (Lucasfilm/Arts mainly) for PC that I had not own, and I would like to play now, but I have found that there were several versions of each one (16 vs 256 color, talkie vs non-talkie, 5.25" vs 3.5" vs CD, etc). So when looking for some game I am lost; I don't know if it is enough getting a 5.25" version or if it is better wait for a 3.5", which was (maybe?) 256 color instead of the 16 color-5.25" discs, or even better to get a CD-version even without (lost) box???
Well, I guess you get the point. Do you know if there is somewhere a page which lists *all* (or almost) versions that where edited? I have looked at lucasarts museum and at legacy.de but AFAIK, they list versions mainly platform oriented, and not characteristics-oriented, and if they list several ones for the same platform (for example PC) they do not detail characteristics (colors, voice, etc). Additionally, I could be wrong, but I feel they are partial lists when looking for same-platform edited versions.
Thanks

I don't know of any list like that. However, laffer's post on this thread:

Is fairly comprehensive when it comes to the earlier games (the only ones where there was a myriad of different versions).

It's in German, but it shouldn't be so hard to read.
