I'm really wondering if there was a german talkie version of this game?
I know there is a german version with subtitles and I know there is a german talkie version. But this talkie version contains english sound and just the interface and the things on the screen (when you hover with the mouse over them) are german but therefor no subtitles?!?
But has there been a real talkie version with german speech-sound of this game?
greets
Indiana Jones (4) and the Fate of Atlantis in german?

Yeah, unfortunately there hasn't been a German talkie version... sadly FOA was released only a year before German talkies became popular (the first being "Day of the Tentacle"). While it's still one of the best adventure games of all time, it would've been my all time favourite if Harrison Ford's German voice actor Wolfgang Pampel (who lends his voice to Ford in every single movie since "Star Wars") would've been heard in that game. All the later Indy-games featured him, but as those were action-games sadly they weren't as dialogue-based as LC and FOA.
Oh, and there's a fan-made patch that allows you to put German subtitles and a German user-interface into the (english) talkie version.
