Several questions (MM, ZAK, MI2)

Post by Lokan »

Is it possible to play the NES version with the NDS?
(got the .NES file, but SCUMMVM doesn't seem to recognize it)

I tried the FM-Towns version of MI2, but the pictures in the intro were missing and i got weird coloring in my inventory.
Anyone else encountered this problem?

I've seen two different 256 color versions of Zak McKracken (DOS and FM-Towns I suppose). I was little irritated by the diferent number of audio tracks (one got 21 (FM-Towns) the other 23 (DOS)). Are those supposed to have both 23?

Thanks in advance

When in doubt, try with a "fuller" ScummVM version, like the Win32 one. If a version of a game works there, and there's no mention of it not working in the ScummVM DS FAQ/docs/relnotes, then it's time for a forum post.

To rule no. 0 - As it happens I do own a NES Cartridge of Maniac Mansion (german version though) so I don't consider it illegal to download the english file. Do you?
