Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - CD. How do I install?

Post by SaitanMar »

Hello there,

New to the forums although I have used ScummVM for my PC on many occasions. Well I recently put the program on my PSP and heard that it was possible to put Broken Sword on it. Now BS is my all time favourite game and would love to be able to do it.

Trouble is how? I have the SOLD OUT edition of the game which consists of two CD's so how would I put that onto my PC. I'm guessing at one point I would compress it but do I turn it into a ISO file for ScummVM to reconise it.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks! :D

to get it to run on PC try,

files needed are listed here: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Dataf ... e_Templars

- if files exist on the CDs, copy them over to HD, if they don't exist on the CDs, run installer to extract them to HD
- download re-encoded cutscenes from http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php#extras
- add into ScummVM on PC, make sure game is able to run

then copy the datafiles to the PSP, and try your luck there...

OK, I've installed BS on my PC and have downloaded the cutscene pack. Now it's been sometime since I last at to do this so where do I specifically put the cutscene files?

oh and what did you mean by Data Files? does that count every file in the Sword directary?

Thanks for the help!

I got it working, I simply needed to install it then transfer the files. Sadly for some reason I have no audio? does anyone know why this is?

But it's superb to see it on my PSP. Thanks ScummVM for making of the best programs I've ever had the pleasure to experience.

Just got to figure this problem out!
