I've played a little full throttle on my nokia n73 now, and it's been all good. I got "out of memory" error a few times, but I think that's because of my phone, so saved often and I'd eventually get past it.
However, I've ran into a new problem now. After I've tipped the truck with the fertilizer and I try to drive back I get "seek error" and "somenumber > somothernumber". This happens every time, it also happens if I driver the other way and take off on a side-road.
This would be great to have fixed, because it seems in-completable on my phone atm.
First time I heard anyone play the game so long, even getting past the intro. Might be your gamefiles that are corrupt. Try to copy them from the original CD again.
at least one person reported seek error with FT on the forum who used both compressed/uncompressed files and re-copied them from the original CD - might be a bug in ScummVM afterall
after some investigation it seems i had the same problem om osx too, so i reencoded the data files and it worked. however, now the game won't start on the phone for me, i'm copying it over again, but it's slow. will report later.

It's not a bug in ScummVM. Read the README, this issue occurs when compressing the videos in the DATA folder without updating their corresponding *.FLU files. The *.FLU files need to be in the same folder as the *.SAN files, otherwise you're having those issues you described. The problem occurs because the *.FLU files contain indexes inside the *.SAN files themselves. If the FLU files are not updated, they point to the locations in the uncompressed SAN files, which causes those out of sync errors
