MacBook Pro Save game???

So, I can't seem to figure out how to save my game on my MacBook Pro!!!! I've tried Function F1, apple F1, option F1, even shift and control F1 but nothing!!!! I desperately want to play all my old games again but can't for very long due to this issue! Anyone?

He just had the key wrong. It's F5, not F1 -- or fn(F5) for MacBook Pro users.
