Running Nintendo DS homebrew has become pretty easy in the last year, with the rise of Slot 1 adapters and DLDI.
Nothing compared to the beginnings of homebrew...

Btw: The number 1 Reason for me to get a DS actually was ScummVM. I read on the internet, that it has been ported to the DS and I was so fascinated at this time, that I bought a DS and homebrew equipment. But at this time you either had to use bulky carts sticking out from every little hole of the DS (not really comfortable at all), or you had to void your warranty by flashing your DS and risking bricking it (and still using bulky carts).
I risked it, and it worked, and since this day I love my DS (for both homebrew and official games).
Ok, now I got highly offtopic, but I hope, I didn't annoy you with my little story.

now i have to disturbe again...

i found under ebay: micro sd card
the following:
http://cgi.ebay.de/SanDisk-6GB-MicroSD- ... dZViewItem

at least this card has 6 GB - i think i need it because of "sam´n ´max", "day of the tentacle" and "vollgas"???

but this card is MicroSD SDHC. is this right? is the R4DS or M3 Simply compatible?

the administrator of our bank do not know.

as far as I know, the R4 only supports up to 4GB at the moment, so maybe you should get a smaller one (2 GB should be plenty, and cheaper too, and is guaranteed to work). And for the r4ds/m3ds if you search Google you should find a few shops selling those...

no! you can't!!!
to all the others who don't speak german: i'm describing shortly in german, why you can't use it.

Hello BOT7

i had same Problem like you...i am german
For BOT7 i write some kind in german sorry but i can not write it in english

Deshalb this time i write in ENglish

My problem is these i had a R4 and i make all what they say@ these guide on the page http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/DS/feature.asp?c=3252
but it dont work.
Scumm ever say "ScummVM could not find any game in the specified directory!".
I dont know what i must do.
I read @ some page i had not to patch the Scummversion because the R4modul do that for me but that work but it work not with it and it work not when i dont patch it. help me i only want to play dott on me DS.
Please Help me.

THanks for all who help me!

thinking

Post by BOT7 »

i think you have to go to the homepage of your r4cartridge - and get some new driver?!

thanks anyway

I thank the Scummteam for this perfect tool.

@bot7 buy the R4 Modul its the easiest way to play lucasadventures on DS. I had the M3 Modul and it was not half so easy to use.

Please, stop replying in German, this is an English forum, if everyone started writing in his/her own language, it'd be utter chaos...

Sounds like we're going a bit offtopic here so to get back to the OP; everyone's free to start a forum in their own language. Of course this forum's great and I doubt you would ever get the same user base and knowledge into a German-only forum but that's just the way it is. I think you'd be better off by brushing up on your English language skills than trying to form a sub-group for people who rather speak in their native language.
Oh and by the way, I'm Dutch :)
