Commander Keen dos game on Scumm or without ?
I've got a question, and not sure this is hte place or forum or group to ask.. But, an old dos game which is classic called Commander Keen, I assume many have played it, I'm curious if omsone can (with my financial support) or jsut for fun, convert or recode or alter Scumm to play this game. You can see and get it at www.commander-keen.com.. It's an older game from Idsoftware, a friend and I would literally pay to have this run on our s60v3 nokias.. Not sure where to ask or search how ot do it, I can do alot but not programming. And I really don't have the time do learn programming, is why I said financial support. Thanks for any help on this.

From what I understand, that game is outside the scope of ScummVM. ScummVM is a collection of game engines, rather than a general-purpose DOS emulator. Adding a new game or, if we're lucky, family of games means adding an entire new game engine, and we're focusing on point-and-click adventure games.
Perhaps the CloneKeen project can help you, but I don't really know anything about it myself. It doesn't seem to be ported to your platform at this time, though apparently it has already been ported to some other hand-held devices.

There are lots of them? Hm, I only know of one, CloneKeen, and that is only for the older Keen games, but not for 4&5Anotherguest wrote:And there are lots of keen ports done, clone keen for example, coded with SDL as a base, easy to port to Symbian OS using SDL, but should not be a part of ScummVM.
