Game Settings

Post by bolkar »

Hello Everyone,

I am wondering if there is a web page with best settings for each game (sound, video, etc).

Perhaps a forum section for each game?

(Maybe there is something like this that I don't know (I cant find anything related to settings at wiki pages)

Thanks,

I'd say it's a matter of taste. If there was a "best setting", we wouldn't have to leave the user any options at all, would we?

There's a bewildering number of music drivers, but for most games the only relevant ones are "Adlib" and the native MIDI driver. The exact name for the latter depends on your operating system. If you can't hear any difference between two settings, chances are ScummVM decided that the setting didn't apply to the game, and so it used some default instead.

For games that use digital (i.e. pre-recorded) music, the music driver setting makes no difference at all.
