Troll's Tale

Post by exofreeze »

According to the dat file page, Troll's Tale requires the file troll.img. The version that Al Lowe (game's creator) provides on his page has game.dat and troll.exe. What version is the "troll.img" file from?

Thanks

Al Lowe is distributing those games without the right to do so. They are still owned by Sierra.

I would recommend that the game engine be made to accept either file name.

I.e. either legitimate or warezed version?

Besides the fact that Al Lowe doesn't own all rights on the game, the version which he distributes has following message at the end of the image: 'Cracked by Demonlord 10/28/00'. So thank you, we'll abstain from that.

Wow. What's Lowe thinking?

As far as I know, these games are no longer of any interest to my friends at Disney or Sierra, so feel free to copy them and share them with your friends.
Exactly that... :-)

His friends at Sierra don't include the lawyers of the company, I suppose...

C'mon guys, don't start this over again. That's his own business, but we don't want to be involved in that.
