Testing, testing. Big Testing Season(TM) for ScummVM 0.11.0

Post by sev »

It is time to announce our next Big Testing Season(TM). This means that pretty soon you, our fellow users, will see the new and shiny ScummVM version.

We have extended the set of our supported games by 8 new (or old :) ) games. The list includes: I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Lure of the Temptress, Elvira - Mistress of the Dark, Elvira II - The Jaws of Cerberus, Waxworks (Amiga version only), and early Sierra preAGI games Mickey's Space Adventure, Troll's Tale, and Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood.

There are detailed instructions on how to perform testing in a helpful way. You will find them on our Wiki page. Please stick to those and report on our mailing list, in #scummvm or on in this thread. The current list of tested games can be found here.

When will i ever learn? :-)

Updated my posts, maybe they could be updated in the engine too?
As they gave no platform information on adding...

Both these glitches should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting them!

You were very fast indeed! Very commendable bug-fixing efficiency. I'll probably test with a new snapshot tomorrow.

floppy or CD?

I noticed that there are entries for both floppy and CD version on the compatibility list to be filled, I wonder why. (I know that the labyrinth is slightly different, but does that justify 2 test entries?)
