As per subject, really.
The original CD of Sam & Max Hit the Road came with four bonus audio tracks:
1. "Theme from Sam & Max" - 2:02
2. "Moleman Music" - 3:36
3. "King of the Creatures" - 1:39
4. "The Bigfoot Shuffle" - 5:05
Does ScummVM make any use of them when playing the actual game, or are they just extras, unrelated to the game, intended for use in a normal CD player?
Thx,
Sam.
Does ScummVM make use of Sam and Max's bonus audio tracks?

The game scripts themselves don't (and therefore neither would ScummVM) as the game itself uses dynamically changing music via iMuse.
There was a CD player front-end on at least some releases of the CD version which was specific to playing those four tracks, but they're mentioned in the manual as being a bonus, and not used in game and as such I think ScummVM does the same.

Can you verify that for "King of the Creatures"? I have a vivid memory of Conroy Bumpus singing the song in the game and while I think there could have been minor sync issues, having them with cd-audio and subtitles rather than with spoken (sung) lines and iMuse soundtrack would have been much less irritating.

He sings the song, but it's not played from the CD track. It just sounds the same.raina wrote:Can you verify that for "King of the Creatures"?
