Post by spikehansley »

hi there,
i found scumm and this forum. i like it very much. my problem is, that i use the search function but get no info.

i installed scumm 1.11.1 an i can start it. i also can add games to it. but when i click "start" it crashes and quit. there is no error message. only quit boom.

is there something i must set up ? the games i tried are fate of atlantis and amazon queen.

please please help because i love those old games :-)))

Put the games inside a folder on the memorycard usually helps, don't put it in the root of the drive.

i tried this. i put for example the two files from fate of atlantis in a folder "atlantis" in the root of my sdhc 8GB microsd. if the game files are "not" in the root level of the mc....scumm will not find them, when i click "add game". but if i put the files without a folder in the root level, scumm recognize them and i can add the game. then when i go to click "start" scumm quits.....:-(

There are lots of topics in the Symbian OS port discussing this. a) Create the folder. b) Double tap to change drive. (select D:/E: and double tap to open it). C) Select the folder.
