Long time user of ScummVM, and longer time player of everything adventure based.

My mother who I recently bought a laptop for is a longtime gamer too. Recently I decided to purchase Curse of Monkey Island and got it running in ScummVM.

Like most mothers, running ScummVM can be an extra step that can drive one away from playing it.

So, is it possible to setup a shortcut that Quickstart's a game?

So, is it possible to setup a shortcut that Quickstart's a game?

Should be. One of the optional command-line parameters to ScummVM is to tell it which game to run, using the ID of the game (see the Edit Game) dialog. You don't mention which operating system you're using, but if the ordinary shortcut runs scummvm.exe, changing it to run scummvm.exe comi might work.
