Being a big fan of the original Sam and Max these new ones aren't that great, dissapointing in fact.

Season Two is my favorite Sam & Max game by far. I enjoy it a lot more than Hit the Road, and as you can tell from my avatar I am a big fan of Hit the Road.

If you gave up on the Telltale games early on, give them another chance. Telltale has really improved on the games as time went on. Season Two is heads over heels better than Season One. Although, I must admit I did enjoy Season One quite a bit, especially after they hit their stride from Abe Lincoln Must Die onwards.
