Japanese Monkey Island Sega CD

Im just wondering if the Japanese Monkey Island Sega CD is supported by ScummVM, I know the US version is
but looking at the screenshot on the back of its CD case shows a remarkably different verb and item section
The screenshot Im talking about is the one on the bottom right of this image

It is detected, but the Japanese characters in the dialogue text are not shown.

It also crashes if you try to get past the press enter screen

It works fine for me, Im use ESC to pass the start screen, is there any chance your playing the game from the cd? It crashed out for me then when I tried to test it quickly.

it crashes even on a japonese computer with correct fonts ?
marty fm towns lucas releases have the same bugs or that's specific to megacd releases ?
