Press F5 to get to the ScummVM config menu.
You're not running the game directly of the cd's by any chance?
You can set the savepath in the edit options for any given game .

You choose the savepath in the settings, start the game and THEN press F5 to load/save your game, you can't load a savegame from there, only set the path to the folder, hence you see no savefiles.

you need to download the "daily winsnapshot" it´s a bug from earlier scummvm-versions :-)
