BASS source code

Post by Escorter »

Hello! I'm a newcomer. My english is pretty bad, sorry about it...

I have a strange question:
There's no way to release the original assembly source code of Beneath a Steel Sky?

Absolutely. Forum Rule #0 :). They released the source not so long ago. Of course we (ScummVM Team) had it for couple years, but that was on undisclosure agreement.

ScummVM? At least you may strip out parts for unpacking. Also see scummvm/tools/skycpt tool. Probably it's useful too.

No, I broke into Revolution's offices and stole the source code. :)

Yes, it's legal. They sent it to me and gave their blessing for it to be distributed.

Be sure to let Revolution know if you do anything interesting with it. I'm sure they'd love to hear about what people are making of one of their classic games. :)
