BASS won't work!!!

Post by mrfop »

Hi all

Downloaded ScummVM 0.8.0a and bass-cd-1.2. ScummVM loads up fine, but when I go to add BASS none of the items in the folder qualify as a game I can add. In the bass-cd-1.2 folder are the files: readme.txt; sky.cpt; sky.dnr and sky.dsk. As I say, none of these files can be highlighted as a new game for ScummVM. What am I doing wrong? :(

Thanks

Dave

oh, I'm running osx 10.3.9 btw, on a G4 mac, 400 with 256 Ram. Ta.

You didn't run ScummVM, didn't press "Add Game" button, didn't followed your filesystem to a directory where BASS files are, and didn't press "Choose" button.

Yes I did
didn't press "Add Game" button

Again, I did
didn't followed your filesystem to a directory where BASS files are
Well, I've detailed the folder which I assume them to be in above (bass-cd-1.2 ; which was unzipped from bass-cd-1.2.zip)
and didn't press "Choose" button.
None of the said files (sky.cpt; sky.dnr; sky.dsk) would highlight so I could press the choose button.

Cheers Dave

The browser shows directories (or "folders", as they're called in some operating systems) not files, i.e. you select the directory where the sky.cpt, sky.dnr and sky.dsk files are.

I.e. press Choose in that directory.
