BAAS Save games

Ive had a search and couldnt locate this problem, but its simple enough

I just downloaded beneath a steel sky on the pc version with scumm and it works fine, except i cant get any menu's save games, ive tried the text files f5 and alt f5 and randomly hitting all the keys, cant seem to get anything working.

anybody got any idea's?

simply running the latest version of scumm for windows, with the freeware baas downloading from here on an xp machine.

I think you have to move the pointer to the top of the screen and click, and a menu will show up, if I remember correctly.

If memory serves me - I can't check at the moment - that's just for the inventory. F5 should work.

So far, I believe this problem has always turned out to be that the keyboard assigns special functions to the function keys by default. There may be some sort of "F lock" key that you need to press to disable that. See for instance this thread.

bugger me, i didnt even know i had that key!, all fixed and working now, thanks
