Hmm, it could be that this game uses more memory than the other FF games.
An easy short-term solution would be doing a new ScummVM build with the other engines disabled. This should free up another 4 or-so MB, which may be enough to allow this game to run.

But this game is not so important. Simply, it would would be desirable that the project constantly was updated!
