Will series 60 v3 make the difference?

I was reading a pdf document on the improved functions of the new series 60 platform and i couldn't help but wonder, will it make a difference to scummvm, or is it really not that of a big deal
I mean broken sword had problems running on the earlier symbian os versions and i was wondering if this will fix the problem

Nothing new with Symbian OS 3, execept the security model. What iis good though is that the later models have more free memory and cpu power, and this is what stops some of the games from working. As for compiling, there are no issues compiling for GCCE.
