SVN Build updated

Post by Anotherguest »

A new SVN build for UIQ3 has been uploaded. Includes the possible AGOS fix, which might also break other games. (Filehandling is rather central).

Would be nice to have it tested.

It can be found here:
http://anotherguest.se/cvsbuilds/scummv ... Q3_all.sis

Don't have time to build a new S60v3 version right now.

Did you press green key, then '1' to toggle input mode to 'j'? and then press the greenkey again.

Thanks it worked.
samNmax ran perfectly on my N95.

I think there is a slight problem with my file seeking. Luckily it should be quite easy to fix on my pc without the need of on target debugging.

Thanks! That worked.

The sound problem (my other thread) is better now, but not perfect. I think its because the music doesnt work now and all i hear is the speech.
I dont know. Hope the next versions fixes my problem with 6220c.

But really great project. =)

Edit: I cant start Monkey1 in pre 0.12 btw.

Is there a chance of fixing the sound stuff on 6220c?

Can't find it at http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/SymbianOS_S60

New build has still stuttering sound on my phone.

CD sound should be encoded at really low bitrates. Streaming a 160kbps audio file (beeing ripped from the CD to mp3).. is really requirering lots of file reading.(I guess its the cd audio stuttering). And filereading coupled with all the rest going on in ScummVM, really can slow the playback down. W

Try encoding OGG or Mp3 at 32->64 kbps. Thats still sounds ok on your phone (thats like 22khz stereo or 16khz stereo), specially using the built in speaker.

Also upgrading your memorycard to a high performance one might help.

You might get some small clicks between buffers, but they are like 1 minute apart or so using that low bitrate in stead of highquialty ones.

Thanks! Now it works!

But one question: Are there no savings in hof? Will it work anyway?
