Preliminary version for firmware 2.0 is now available
To download this version:
* Add the Urbanfanatics.com source (listed under "More Sources") in Cydia. ScummVM should then appear in the list.
* Alternatively download http://urbanfanatics.com/cydia/scummvm- ... 0-pre4.deb directly, upload it to the phone, and install it with 'dpkg -i'

Known issues with the version:
* Capitalization is always on initially for the keyboard
* Backspace doesn't work.

It seems to be running as on previous iPhone's firmware (1.1.4 for me).
I tried Indiana Jones 3 without noticeable problem.
But I also started Full Throttle and Sam&Max ... and there is no speech ! So I will try to find how, but I prepared the files for the 1.1.4 iPhone and reused the same files for the 2.0 port ... so could you check if you have the same symptoms ? Thanks in advance.
Right, the portrait mode is not showing the game. Not a real problem for playing ... should be a low priority
[EDIT] MI1 has no sound at all, probably libraries to decode OGG are missing.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I was wondering how big of a job it is to port/include the missing COMI-specific (?) code? Well, no matter what great work.Vinterstum wrote:Known issues with the version:

* COMI cutscenes will likely be a bit slower than usual, due to some assembly versions of relevant code not being included yet.
* The status bar pops back up when restoring from sleep mode.

The issue is mainly an oddity with the assembler used by the toolkit: The opcodes all need to be lowercase . I'll look into it soon myself, or ask the maintainers about it, but it hasn't really been top priority so far.blunden wrote:I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I was wondering how big of a job it is to port/include the missing COMI-specific (?) code? Well I just finished DOTT using this version - thanks heaps guys! Makes my 3G much more useful now
This is the first time that I've used ScummVM on a mobile device, and it was a much better experience than I was expecting. I found that the "right click" functionality was a bit difficult, but otherwise the interface is great (easy enough to click on everything). One small bug - the "chattering teeth" just disappeared out of my inventory (nowhere to be found), but that could be anything (just loaded a save game).
