Monkey Island 2 "freezes"

I am using 0.12.0 on Windows XP, got to the point where the two skeletons dance, sand one part of the song, and from there they don't stop at all, even if the music has stopped for a while! I looked on the command prompt of ScummVM but no error appears there. If it helps in any way, I uploaded a saved game from that point here

I have no idea what may have happened (though I did notice I got no music when I loaded the savegame, and some scenes are timed to the music). As a workaround you can press Esc to get to the exciting part of the scene.

Silly me, I forgot about Esc!

Thank-you for the workaround, I loose the important part but it does not matter.

Check your inventory. I think you'll find Guybrush wrote down the important part. (Unless you were referring to the actual performance.)
