Can't Install Broken Sword I Sold Out Version on Vista

Fellow Game student tried to install new just recieved Sold Out (Blue) Disk copy of BS1 on Vista, the disk will not open or read on their CD DVD drive. Nadda. Insert Disk Error or nothing that shows up.

Any ideas? faulty disk perhaps?

I tried to send the missing dll i saw posted about in other thread on Vista and BS1 but was already in system. (MsBvm50.dll)

I'd guess that the disk is faulty - has he tried to contact Sold Out?

I think that will be the next logical step, i just wanted to check and see if there was some problem that others may have run into. I can't check the disk myself as the person is in another part of the country.

I am glad i have the orignal version which installs and runs very nicely, with ScummVM.
