Monkey Island 3 Context Cursor?

It's been awhile since I've played MI3, and I wanted to play it again, but I'm running modern Vista and decided ScummVM would be a good route (plus I like windowed mode).

The thing is, I can't figure out or remember how to bring up context cursors to tell Guybrush to do certain things. I remember there was a big gold coin on the bottom of the screen with pictures on it, but that doesn't seem to be here anymore.
