Hiding the toolbar

Greetings,

When you hide the toolbar, shouldn't the screen adjust to use that extra space? On my handset, that area just goes black. Is this normal behaviour? Thanks!

This black space is normal because not all games use this screen space. On the other hand "Zak MacKracken" needs to hide the toolbar because without hiding it you can not use the inventory.
