Maniac Mansion NES italian versione

Post by pucci »

I have extracted a NES rom from from a Maniac Mansion cartridge that i buy from eBay, when i try to convert in ScummVM usable format, the scummVM tools say this:

ERROR: ROM contents not recognized (DC529482)!

what can i do?

try redumping the cartridge, CopyNes required me to dump a few times before i got a clean dump.

although Ive just checked and it seems the italian version
is not known about, It might require one of the developers to own a cartridge before support can be added
I know they needed a cartridge to support the spanish version.

Forum rule does not state that giving away an original game cartridge (or CD or DVD) to another person is illegal. I suppose there would be less presents under this years Christmas tree if that was the case.

Obviously Jonatan was referring to the offer of sending over the dump. That would violate the rule. Passing out the originals is not only the right thing, but it is only thing which could help in such case.

Aah! The word 'dump' eluded me.
