Hi
I installed the iPhone port of ScummVM with no difficulty, and transfered the required games to the folder I wanted, and everything is running.
When I run Sam & Max: Hit the Road or Day of the Tentacle, I get music occasionally and speech only works in the first scenes. I think it has to do with the file types, but I am not sure.
DOTT is floppy
and SMNMX is CD.
Subtitles work if that is of any value.

Re: Sound issues
Getting speech only in the intro is normal for the floppy version of a game. I don't know anything about the iPhone, so I couldn't even guess about the other problems, though.acolite246 wrote: When I run Sam & Max: Hit the Road or Day of the Tentacle, I get music occasionally and speech only works in the first scenes. I don't have the floppy versions myself so I don't know about your Day of the Tentacle. For Sam and Max 22.7 MB sounds too large for a floppy game, but it's definitely too small for a CD version. Perhaps the file got truncated when you copied it to your iPhone?acolite246 wrote:DOTT
TENTACLE.000 7.8 KB
TENTACLE.001 9.6 MB
TENTACLE.002 1.8 MB
MONSTER.SOU 3.7 MB
SAMNMAX
SAMNMAX.000 8.9 MB
SAMNMAX.001 13.2 MB
MONSTER.SOU 22.7 MB
The MONSTER.SOU for the English CD version of Day of the Tentacle is 257 MB, and for Sam and Max it's 175 MB.

It must have timed out or something.
Thanks
EDIT: Okay. Right now I am updating Sam and Max, which had gotten cut off during the transfer.. I have just tested the DOTT game on my PC and, just like the iPhone, it has no sound because it is a floppy DOTT. Thanks for your help!
