It's starting to come together (click the image for a bigger preview):

There's still some minor retouching necessary (like the vertical stripes), and a LOT more retouching for the logoless version.

looks great, what resolution was it scanned in at?

I've had it scanned at 600dpi to make descreening a little easier. The download will only be at 300dpi though. I think the text- and logoless versions might be lower than that, as I'll have to use lower-res artwork for cleanup.

I've added my first three versions of "Maniac Mansion" to the opening post. Enjoy!

For easier editing I've finished them in 200dpi... I'm sure it'll still be enough

Edit: Also I've updated the "Hit the Road"-artwork with a better scan.

Yeah, and the magazine-guy actually sent me the file he made... unfortunately I can't find it on my office-HD anymore (where I've downloaded it to), so maybe it's gone. I'm not sure if I send a copy to my home-PC, I'll check there when I get home.

Also Ive re-initiated conversation with harbrush the owner of the full throttle poster.

Laserschwert there is a chance that he will post it off to one of us to get it scanned, would you be willing to have it scanned at a poster shop and return it to him?

Damn, I hate being in charge of something. Furthermore scanning alone already costs me a bunch of bucks, so I'm not entirely happy with adding postage to that. I was actually considering re-building that poster from actual box scans (which - as seen with the other posters - is easier to manage across the web). All I'd need would be some close-up photos of the poster for the actual credits and type-faces.

Depends if harbrush has a decent camera.

I wouldnt be opposed to putting a little money in to get a decent scan / pay for shipping either though
