USB / NTSC problem?

Post by DayakCI »

I have FreeMCBoot on my ps2. I took the files in the ps2 port and put them into a USB drive.

I boot and go to usb drive, I run SCUMMVM.ELF

Software comes up on NTSC (I think it is because everything is Black and white even with the theme).

Than I add a game directory from same USB and START it.

Only thing I get is black screen.

I do not know if my problem is only NTSC.

I checked the source code, ELF file checks the ps2 type if it is E(Europe) it sets to PAL. But maybe with this new slim version does not return correct values, in the code ELSE statement drops the variable to NTSC and maybe that is really happening.

Can anybody help?

Also, where can I find the full source code??? It calls some files I do not have. (I got a version from SVN)

I have 90004 by the way and I try to run Monkey Island or Indiana Jones games.

Full ScummVM source is in SVN. Probably you are just missing some kind of SDK?

that is a very good confirmation thank you. Now I can turn to my tries...

I will make PAL default type. So, in that way we will see if it is really that or someother thing...

That would be really cool to make a full DVD style - all-in-one- HDAdvance file and play it.
