New scummvm 0.13 quits immediately
Hi,
I installed single-eboot from scummvm 0.13 on a PSP S&L, firmware 5.0 M33-4.
When I run it from the xmb, it loads (ms led is blinking) with a black screen, but it eventually returns to the xmb without displaying anything.
v0.12 works fine though.
Does it 0.13 work for you?

Either try the single eboot version and place it under GAME (make sure you set it to use the 5.xx kernel in the recovery menu beforehand).
Alternatively, you could try using the "1.5" version, placed in GAME150 (for which you need to install Dark_Alex's LEDA 0.2 if you have a SLIM PSP).
Everything should be fine if you're under one of these scenarios.
I have no other idea what might have gone wrong otherwise, sorry.[/b]

If you don't have any UMD in tray you absolutely need to use a NO-UMD mode for any homebrew (it's not only for backup isos).
Redownload SCUMMVM please, direct link just in case:
CLICK ME
Use the single eboot version (without any "%" in it's name).
Throw it in PSP\GAME (set to kernel 5.x in Recovery).
If that doesn't work, I am clueless.

Well, I never use a UMD for homebrews, including ScummVM 0.12, hex-a-hop, and my owns
I tried the 3 "no-umd" modes, with a new redownload (which afaics is bit-for-bit identical to the previous download).
scummvm has the time to create an empty scummvm.ini at the root of the ms though.
The motherboard is a TA-088.

I really don't know what the hell is going on then.
Last resorts:
1) Try Pix's PSP SVN build (0.14) (here)
If that doesn't work -
2) Try reflashing the custom firmwware using HellCat's Recovery Flasher. Required update PBP's can be found here.
You can go straight to 5.00 using this program.
I'm really at loss here, but still trying to help you.
Tell me how it went.
