Hi there....
i recently was able to get my hands on to the FM-Towns version of Monkey 2.
The first thing i realized was, the Sound effects of fm-t. are much better. For example: the crackling of the campfire in the beginning was in the DOS version just a very simple crackling, but in the fm-t. version its much more complex, similar to a real life recording...
I thoughz: w00t... nice..
but then it came!!!
the interface.
in the fm-t. ver. the colors of the inventory are very strange, lots of purple, less colors etc, although the rest of the game is (graphically) identical to the DOS vers.
My question here now is:
Is it possible to get the FM-Towns sound effects to work in the DOS version, or the other way around, getting the correct colors in the inventory of the FM-Towns version....
thanks ahead

Re: Monkey Island 2: Combining FM-Towns Sound and DOS graphi
There are several bug reports about the FM-Towns version of Monkey Island 2 in the bug tracker. I'm guessing that the main problem is that the game is just so rare and/or expensive that none of the active developers own a copy of it.
