Discworld 1 not recognised on 0.13.1 ?
Hello!
I just installed Discworld 1 and it's not recognised on the iphone version of ScummVM.
Is that an intended limitation?
Thank you!

The Discworld games aren't supported yet. (Support for them is work-in-progress in the development version of ScummVM, and I'm told they work pretty well, but it's not enabled in any stable release.)bsauvage wrote: I just installed Discworld 1 and it's not recognised on the iphone version of ScummVM.

Wonderful job!
Thank you very much to allow us to play again to our favorites oldies games!
Do you have an estimated date/period of update of ScummVM for iPhone/iTouch which supports the Discworld Series?
Thanks in advanve for your answer.

Look at the download page
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php
At the bottom, you will find the SVN/nightly/development versions. There is an Iphone version there. That is the one you want.

Doesn't work...
Thank you very much for your rapid answer bobdevis!
But I'm afraid it doesn't work:
I have transferred files of the .tar.bz2 in the iPhone nightly builds to my iPhone, but when I tried to launch, the app crash directly (open/closed directly), so I tried to:
- rename scummvm by ScummVM (because of the name of the original ScummVM installed),
- change rights of file ScummVM to rwxr-xr-x (0755)
- make a "chown mobile *" for the files in the folder "ScummVM.app"
- make a respring,
but it seems not working. Maybe I forgot something...
I have an iPhone 3G with firmware 2.2 (in french)
If you don't know what is my problem, it's not really a problem, I will take my bad in patience and wait for the official version
Trank you for your advise

Thank you Vinterstum.
I tried your tip, but it seems to doesn't work anymore...
The ldid command made no errors, but when I launch ScummVM with its icon from the SpringBoard (I made overwrite of files of the official Cydia version), it show the screen "loading", and go back to the SpringBoard.
Maybe I do something wrong.
I think it will be better to let do the professionals and wait for the stable version on Cydia
Thanks for your help

Hey! Thanks for sharing it, but I'm trying to do as you said, and when I'm doing that ldid -S /Applications/ScummVM.app/ScummVM stuff, my iphone just hangs on, and I need to restart it. I'm doing it in winscp terminal, what I'm doing wrong?manias wrote:OK got discworld running
overwrote the latest scummvm normal build's files, then I had to do ldid -S /Applications/ScummVM.app/ScummVM
and it recognizes the game n it boots! awesome!

Hi LosBadylos,
try this:

(the last post). Did and does it for me ldid can take quiet a time to finish and a respring is done. Just wait until you see the prompt of your console again.
