MT-32 support on PSP?

Post by sykotik »

is mt-32 emulation supported on the psp? because i've placed the roms into the directory and selected True Roland mode under MIDI option but it still sounds the same. Is there a way for MI2 to sound better?

You have to go to the Audio tab and click the drop down menu next to "Music Driver" and select MT-32. If it's not there it's not supported. But I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Is the PSP really powerful enough to run the MT-32 emulator? I've never used it myself (I don't have the necessary data files), but I've heard it needs a "fast CPU" to work.

MT32 emu support is not compiled in, because it would be pointless (unusable).
