indiana jones fight problem

Hi everyone
Fight does not work in indiana jones last cruisade. How do I pass a fight ? Is there an alternative way to fight ? Or am I screwed and have to avoid fights during the entire game ?

I have no control. I don't see the mouse, and clicking as no effect. I can steel access the menu with F5, but fighting is not possible. I have Ubunut 8.10

I think you need to use the numpad for fighting in that one.

I think that's true. I'm pretty sure there was a way to toggle between mouse and keyboard fighting in the game, but I forget how exactly.

There is in Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, but I don't see any mention of it in the manual for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Not at a quick glance, at least.
