installing broken sword process in scummvm windows?

Post by jamiehavok »

hi just a quick question to make sure i installed broken sword correctly. i did as it said in the instructions - i wasnt sure whether the clu files should have been in a separate directory or the base directory so i put them in both and a few wav files got overwritten from cd1 to cd2 is this normal? or should they go in separate directories? thanks - its just i started playing it again because i cant remember if i ever finished it and am enjoying it and dont want a random crash half way through heheh.

I put all the .clu files from both CDs (including the renamed speech ones), and swordres.rif, in the base directory, and the music and cutscenes in separate directories. (That's not the only way of doing it, but it seemed tidy to me.)

Some of the music files appear on both CDs (since some of the music appears in both halves of the game), but in those cases they're either identical or (in only one case, I believe) close enough to identical that it makes little difference.
