7th Guest "Insert Disc 2"

How do I get past the message? I've already put both discs' information in one directory, but what NOW? Please, my mother is a great fan of this game and was delighted to be able to play this on Windows Vista thanks to ScummVM, but she is now distraught by this problem. I'm desperate for some help here.

Are you sure you got all the files? I'm not at all familiar with this game engine, but there's a function that looks like it's supposed to figure out which of the CDs are available at the moment. If it can find a file named b.gjd, CD 1 is available. If it can find a file named at.gjd, CD 2 is available.

But I don't know if/when that's used.
