Battery status bar

Hello there!

Thanks for yet another great port. A really good job guys, if I might say so.

Yet there is one feature I hold very important for a Wii port that is missing, and that's the battery status.

It would probably be a good idea to have a battery status bar in the menu or elsewhere, so one can check how much juice his remote has left, and that's quite important.

If it isn't such a problem to integrate, it would be perfect to add this feature to an already astonish list of features.

Anyway, that's only my opinion. So let's discuss it!

I don't try much Wii homebrew. Is there any that has a battery indicator?
I see no problem in going to the main Wii menu and checking it. I can't remember off the top of my head but I seem to remember you can use the Home button to view the battery.

Nope, I can't access the Wii menu with the Home button while ScummVM is running. I'm using the homebrew channel to access it, maybe that's the reason, dunno. But many other people are also using this method.

Adventure games are usually quite long, and comfortably playing games without interruption would be a grace.

I took a look around, and I have found a few apps on wiibrew.org with a battery status feature.

all 'Tantric' emulator ports do have battery indicator (snes9x-gx, fceugc, vba-wii)

Should be useful on ScummVMWii
