SCI0 Midi Support on Windows?

Post by tareon »

I noticed that SCI0 Games don't seem to have Midi-Support in ScummVM. I used the recent Daily Snapshot (win32) and tried to get my (real) MT-32 working but it seems that no midi data is sent. Neither to the windows midi-device nor to the emulation.

Is Midi for SCI0 Games just temporary deactivated and will it be reactivated later? It would be a shame if these games would stick to adlib or whatever they currently use.

And yes, I know that SCI isn't officially supported and this post isn't meant as a complaint. I just would like to know, because I love the MT-32 tracks of SQ3 (and the "Insert Buckazoid"-Message on the MT-32 display  )

IIRC one of the devs said that it's being worked on, but not with priority.
Bugfixing is more important

OK, that's all I wanted to know.

Thanks Raziel!
