There are USB MIDI interfaces, which should do the trick.
I'm more concerned about broken units. Once working MT-32 units become rare, emulators are pretty much the way to go.

It would be nice if there was somewhere to buy the necessary data files, though. From what I hear, my current computer should be able to run the emulator.
