Corrupted .ZIP file.

Post by G.A.Pster »

When I download the Windows CE ARM package zip it’s corrupted.
When I try and extract it, it says “no files to exstract”. :?

I’ve tried downloading it many times and it’s the same every time.

What’s up?

Pherhaps, trying to download it without a download manager.

I’m not using one.

Have any of you actually tried it lately?

I looked for somewhere else to download it but it looks like it’s only at the one place.

Which file is it? If it's scummvm-1.0.0rc1-WinCE.zip, it worked for me. At least in the sense that I can unzip it. I don't have anything to actually run it on.

(I had to make two tries though. For some reason, on the first attempt I only got part of the file.)

Yeah that’s the one, I’ve tried 5 times so far. I’m using dialup so it takes a while. :?

I normally don’t have any trouble I’ve downloaded hundreds of things, even big 110mb stuff.

You just use winzip right, not some weird extractor?

I don't run Windows, but I used the standard "unzip" command-line tool. I don't imagine it can do anything that WinZIP can't.

Perhaps you could try downloading it from a different mirror? (The download page you get when you follow the link from the ScummVM downloads page should say "Problems with the download? Please use this direct link or try another mirror.")

Downloading from my mobile phone, I used the direct link - worked like a charm :)

So try the direct link, G.A.Pster.
