Kings Quest I

Post by Truus999 »

Completed the game without any problems.

There's one thing but I don't know if I should file a bug report or if it's also in the original. I got 159 out of 158 points. There isn't anything about this on the AGI todo page.

2.0F DOS/English on win XP with SP3 and ScummVM 1.0.0pre043679

Cheers,
René

I have now sucessfully played all the mini-games in "Blue's ABC Time Activities" on the Windows version of ScummVM 1.0.0pre043779. (Using Windows XP SP3) The game was the English version. I didn't encounter any problems during my play through.

Future Wars (Dos/English) is completable on XP with the latest 1.0.0 SVN with no errors except for the non-functionality of restart and pause which has already been noted. The intro splash screens also go by extremely quickly after passing the copy protection, but I think that's normal.

Completed 7th Guest DOS CD version on windows 7 x64
including microscope mini-game with 1.0.0pre043813

Didn't notice any problems except final Tad dialogue out of sync and then I looked in the console and saw these WARNING messages

Unsupported XMIDI controller 114 (0x72)!
(This video (0x1426) is special somehow!)!
repeated many times

I don't know whether warning messages warrant being added to the bug tracker as I didn't notice any adverse effects.

Completed without problems + save and restore works fine.

The Legend of Kyrandia (CD/DOS/German)

Linux
openSUSE 11.1 (i586)
2.6.27.29-0.1-default

ScummVM 1.0.0pre043823
Features compiled in: Vorbis ALSA zLib

Flaws? Sometimes the speech (audio) was a little "jumpy", as if CPU had not enough resources.
This was seldom, on random base and not reproducable.

Pajama Sam 2 English (US)/Windows version on On Symbian s60 v5 (Nokia 5800XM) 8)
used 1.0.0pre0 (Aug 13 2009)
Works fine, tho the load and save function on scummvm's menu were grayed out throughout. But, I was able to use the game's own menu for that.

This was done on purpose, as loading from ScummVM's menu caused glitches (and it has been added to our README). Refer to bug #1726909 and commit #42675

I have now sucessfully completed "Gobliiins" on the Windows version of ScummVM 1.0.0pre043779. (Using Windows XP SP3) The game was the DOS, English, CD version 1.02 (US). I didn't encounter any problems during my play through.

The version I played was the version bundled with Gobliiins 4 when bought from Impulse Driven.
