Hi,

Can you specify :
- The version of Discworld you are using
- Your environment
- The content of the console window

Did you verify that you copied all the required files ?

Hey

I'm running Windows XP SP3

I don't know the version of discworld, it one my brother had on his comp for ages, when scummvm updated i went and got it off him

And the console appears to fast for me to read, but i looks like it wants me to choose something, like type f for this kinda thing.

EDIT: Is Discworld freeware now at all? Would be nice to get a more up to date one (if it's even possible) that i know works

To see the console, click on 'start' then 'Run...' and type Cmd.exe This opens a command line window. Go to your ScummVM directory, and run it. The console window will stay opened, and you'll be able to Cut&Paste the content.

The ScummVM team were/are trying to make this happen for a while. I'm sure that when/if it happens it will pop up on the download page really quick.
It's messy because the companies involved in making it don't exist anymore. Pratchett himself supports freewaring it but he isn't the legal owner of the games.
More gory details are in this thread.

Ebay? It's a bit pricy there but not completely outrageous, usually in the $30 range. As people have said the companies that made/published Discworld (notably Psygnosis) no longer exist, so it's pretty hard for online stores to negotiate distributing it.

Yes, it does. Music, no speech.
